This is a great little assortment pack of sandpaper for all kinds of DIY and repair jobs. You get 12 sheets in total: two sheets each of six different grits – 400 (coarse), 600, 800, 1000, 1200, and 1500 (very fine). This range lets you go from rough sanding (like removing paint or smoothing rough wood) all the way to fine finishing and polishing. The sheets are 3.5 inches by 9 inches, a handy size you can use by hand or wrap around a sanding block. They're made from silicon carbide abrasive on a waterproof backing, which means you can use them 'dry' for most jobs, or use them 'wet' with water (for wet sanding car paint, drywall, etc.) to reduce dust and get an ultra-smooth finish. The grit is evenly distributed and the paper is tough, so it lasts well. Each sheet has the grit number printed on the back so you don't get confused.
