Building or upgrading a DIY CNC router or engraver? This USB GRBL control board is the brains of the operation. It's based on the popular open-source GRBL firmware, which you control from software like Universal GCode Sender on your computer. It can drive up to 3 axes (X, Y, and Z) using external stepper motor drivers (drivers NOT included on this board – you need to connect your own like A4988 or DRV8825). It has connections for limit switches, a coolant fan (12V), a spindle motor (supports up to 48V, 500W – but CANNOT be used at the same time as a laser module), and a laser module header. Power input is wide-ranging from 12V to 48V DC. Please read the warnings carefully: don't reverse the power polarity, don't connect the spindle and laser at the same time, and the offline controller and USB can't be used together. The board comes with a USB cable and a cable for a 775-type spindle motor. You'll need some electronics know-how to wire it all up correctly. A powerful and flexible controller for hobbyist CNC projects.
