Each bar is 914mm long (that's 36 inches), with a profile of 19mm deep by 35mm wide, made from finger-jointed Baltic pine. They have slotted corner joints that fit together without tools (a soft mallet helps) to create a super sturdy frame. The key feature? They come with wooden corner wedges (two per pair). As your painted canvas slackens over time, you can gently tap these wedges into the slots at the back of each corner to expand the frame slightly and re-tension the canvas – genius! This helps avoid cracks in the paint. The bars have a rounded, bevelled edge so they won't leave a ridge on your canvas surface. For larger frames over 30 inches, you can add center brace bars (sold separately) for extra support. They're precision-machined to fit flush and lie flat against the wall.
